Rare appearance by BOBAN, the world recognized contemporary sculptor of figurative monuments.

R&R BOND GALLERIES recently hosted one of the most successful Fine Art events in Florida with the presentation of our collection of monumental and collector-scale sculptures from Salvador Dali, presented by the world's foremost Dali expert, Mr. Robert Descharnes. Collectors, investors, museums and connoisseurs from around the globe descended on R&R Bond for this once-in-a-lifetime exhibition of many of the most important sculptural creations of Master Salvador Dali. In our continuing effort to bring the finest artists in the world to the Treasure Coast of Florida, Serbian sculptor BOBAN (bo’- ban) will present an exclusive once-in-a-lifetime exhibition of the most important original works in his oeuvre.

BOBAN sculptures provide an incredibly unique glimpse of the sculpture process, with the incorporation of various metals including spoons, forks and various flatware. The construction of his figurative works are fanciful, romantic and angelic, but also possess a balance, dynamism and kinetic energy which is unique in modern sculpture. BOBAN captures the privacy of the silent moment in the sculpture, allowing at the same time, the viewer to look far more closely at the artist's message as axis-mundi... the center of the universe. Such a human touch transforms everyday life (spoons, forks, knives as a material for sculpture) into a powerful symbol of an everlasting moment.

March 20th-21st, 2008, BOBAN will attend a private reception for clients, friends and investors from the Treasure Coast of Florida at R&R Bond Galleries on St. Armand’s Circle in Sarasota, FL USA. He will present his own original and limited edition creations as well as sign certifications for works purchased during and prior to the exhibition.
