The Use of Famous Art
as an Adjunct to a Resort
or Attraction in in Mid East
(05/09/08)
The name Salvador Dalí needs no introduction.
Dalí was unquestionably one of the great
artistic giants of this past century. His profound
surrealist vision and artistic talent produced
memorable artworks that have never
diminished in their popularity with the public. Dalí exhibitions have broken all attendance
records at international museums. Global art market has recently seen significant
increases, both in terms of the volume of works
offered for sale at public auction and of their
respective values. In 2006, some 9,200 fine art auctions were
held worldwide for a total value of $ 6.4 billion:
a 52% increase on 2005. Dalí remains one of the most potent names,
consistently ranking as one of the world’s top
100 artists (75 overall in 2006 and 59 in
sculpture works) in terms of auction sales.

Dalí and the Mid East: a perfectly ideal match!
- In retail estate, the resort sector and commercial enterprises, a unique
attraction is often times needed in order to differentiate the product on offer.
- Using art in your upcoming project has manifold advantages, including the
following:
- Art confers status and prestige
- Art disperses culture
- Art appreciates in value
- Art differentiates you from competitors
- Art attracts!
- At one of our permanent exhibitions, the RR Bond Galleries, located next to the
London Eye ferris wheel, London’s premier attraction, and across the Thames River from Big Ben, 70% (over two-thirds!) of our visitors state that
they came to the area specifically to see Dalí, and not the London Eye!
- We can only imagine the sort of success that a similar sort of enterprise
may stimulate in the Mid East!

which will draw crowds and families to his creations
