Stamford gallery Series explores food as Artwork

The show, which comprises 15 artists who used varying media, continues through Aug. 27 at the Pacific Street gallery. Apart from the particular dish of suckling pig, various other food ingredients and items such as cookies, chocolates, walnut, jojoba, marzipan, etc. are ready in the shape of a pig. Donna Callighan, yet another Stamford performer and also a commercial photographer, said her electronic photograph “Fill Her Up” things for her environmental consciousness theme from a body of work in which she features abandoned items in which we have. The picture uses a glass feminine body type – which she discovered while walking her dog – and – utensils. When she discovered that special form of glass even though she has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, she didn’t begin fine art photography in earnest before 2004.
